        I received a free ecopy of this book for an honest review.I read Try Not to Burn a while back and couldn’t wait for book #2 to come out. In fact, when I saw that it had been published, I contacted the author and offered to review this one as well. He was gracious enough to send me a copy. Second Chance begins where Try Not to Burn left off, with Brand, Sam, and Jane having just entered the 2nd level of purgatory.         (I received this book free in exchange for an honest review.)The first book was really good, and this second installment did not let you down. It played all the same notes as the first one, but amped it up and struck a few more chords. It played with Heaven and Hell mythos without driving too deep into any specific religion, which I could definitely appreciate. (As much this time as the last.)I especially liked Brand in that second to last chapter; his determination was gripping.Overall…thereâ [...]
