Meh m/m romance about a high school senior who's at first repulsed and then fascinated by the heavily pierced and tattooed guy who moves in next door, much to his girlfriend's dismay. This book was hampered by a number of things: too much telling and not enough showing, being several times longer than it should have been for the amount of actual story, and a lack of editing (giving someone the finger is rather different than fingering said person).

I think this is the worst book I have read in 2012.I am trying to find something positive to say and I don't think I can. This story is TWICE as long as it should be - at least 150 pages needed to be axed. It would have gave the story alot more emotional punch and I wouldn't be bored to tears by the end of it.The cheating sucked and while I have read books where the cheating is a emotional issue that is used as a plot device. I can handle those - in this case the cheating was senseless, cruel and [...]

This story was another of my favorites I love how this story took such a turn in events Suddenly you get to know who your true friends are, and how judgemental a family can beThe stars were a great addition to a beautiful evolving romance Also a gothic transformation was a step out of normality for Joel's usual pursona, and the author made it suite him perfectly

I really liked this book. I just wished the author wrote epilogues in the books or connected the characters from other books in some way to show an update or something.

Questionable MoralsThis is a very sick and twisted story. Not recommended for anyone who believes that it is immoral for a twenty-something year old authority to trick a high school student into his bed and away from his young wife.

Mixed feeling about this book. The characters did not feel authentic to their age ranges or relationships. However, I liked Ethan and wished Ryan would have gotten more page time as the best friend. I always enjoy stories more when the secondary characters interact with the main characters. Because the characterization was inauthentic and so much of the story relied on these inconsistencies, it was only okay and I give it 2 stars.
