I read this after book three, which is how it is placed on , however given that everything is explained and moved on in book three, I recommend reading this one after the second book. I enjoyed seeing what happened on the night in question, and boy do Ricki and Calder have some smoldering chemistry! I look forward in continuing their story to find out how they deal with things between them after the events which took place in the third book. A must read for fans of this series.
A quick read and gave me the details of Ricki and Calder's first night that I had been so curious about. I knew that had some seriously hot chemistry and this proves it was explosive from the beginning.
I love this series!!!I can't get enough of the bitten series. I love all the the characters. I love the friendship between the women and they are hilarious. I was very excited to read this book because I don't read PNR with werewolves and I loved it. The chemistry between the two characters is amazing. I didn't realize this was a short story when I bought it at only 57 pages. I just about cried when I got to the end! This is a must read series for PNR lovers!
This was a hot and sexy quick read that gives you the back story to Rickie and Calder's night of passion. Totally worth reading!
Whew Calder my man my man!!! I love me some Calder. I don't think Ricci deserves him but what can I say. These two are fire and brimstone personified. Love them and that she stands up to him and hold's him accountable for all his silly moves, poor thing hasn't got a clue. Great prelude to them and how they get started and almost end.Loving this series. Great concept, great writing, great friends, great plot!!
This is a great into into Ricki and Calder. It helps us understand why Ricki acts the way she does towards Calder. I look forward to the two of them over coming their issues and becoming a couple. It should be great fun!
HolyThis is a novella but chuff me its hot. Calder is one hot dominate wolf that gets you hot under the collar and if you ask me Ricki is one lucky lady. That is until she sees something innocent but under the haze takes it the wrong way and runs. Calders advice, never run from a wolf.

Great short story for a lead up to Ricki and Calder's relationship. They definitely had some animal magnetism going on there at the beginning and I don't blame Ricki for running off like she did. She's obviously been hurt so many times in the past by cheating men that seeing what she saw naturally she would think the worst. But it was great to read Calder's pov too. It shows how much he really did adore her.
Calder! Yum! I have to say this was exactly what I wanted it to be. A quick, hot, steamy intro to Calder and Ricki, and it was worth every penny! I absolutely loved it. I don't normally read PNR about werewolves or shifters, but I couldn't get enough of these two. Their chemistry is off the charts, and I couldn't wait to dive into their story, book #4!
Donna's human friend Rikki goes to Donna's party looking for some action and found the smoking hot werewolf Calder. One night of passion and a misunderstanding leaves Rikki running and Calder angry and bewildered. A very witty and passionate story.
One Little Bite ventured into the past and showed us how Calder and Ricki met each other. Or, to be exact, how Calder and Ricki had sex. It was fun but clearly an appetizer. Now I'm ready for the main course.
This complete book series deserves a TV show :) whose with me?
I now understand why Ricki was so upset about Calder. That's all I'll say.
