I still loved it. ++Spoilers++I REALLY liked this book. I give 5 stars because I personally enjoyed it. It is totally my kind of read. I suppose I should lower a fraction of a star because of a few small reasons, but I wont. The reasons are 1) The beginning starts out a litlle awkward and rough. But it quickly smooths out. This third book in The Montbryce legacy series was my favorite so far. While I enjoyed the first two, I found If Love Dares Enough much more engaging and entertaining. The plot was more uplifting and centered more around romance and passion and featured less brutality, war and politics. Although this book is way outside my usual time period, I have to admit that I loved it.In fact it's fair to say that I couldn't actually put it down.Fabulous well paced story, with characters that you could invest in and a believable villain. only go up to 5 stars, but I would be happy to give this a 5+ star rating. I am so excied about discovering this terrific author. The H/h have to overcome some pretty horrific obstacles before they can come to terms with their situation. Both characters have to grow and mature to except lifes chllenges.I am super excited Ms Markland has written more on this family and expanded her story over several characters in her previous books. It is nice to be able to see when the author creates a future for past interesting characters.
Well I have to tell you, I didn’t read the 1st 2 books. I’m sure that they where as good as this one tho. I loved how this story was full of action and love and a whole lot more. If you are looking for a Historical Fiction > Medieval romance!This on is all the way for you.It will leave you wanting more, and keep you guessing!4.5 Stars
